Colour matching
We don't eyeball “you have this”.
“Is this lipstick close enough?” is answered by measuring, not by eye. We compare the shade the recipe asks for with the colour of your product, using a method that models how the human eye perceives colour difference. You get the answer in plain words rather than a number: you have it, a substitute works, or it’s missing.

Your foundation shade counts as the one the recipe asks for.

Not identical, but it does the job. Blenda doesn't hide this — it says “close”, so if the result differs you know why.

What we don't do matters as much as what we do.
No brand guessing
We don't say “MAC Ruby Woo”
You can't read a brand off a photo. Blenda gives category, finish and shade; your kit decides which product fits.
Photos aren't stored
The shot is processed, then deleted
Neither the look you analyse nor your face scan is kept anywhere. The only thing stored is the result.
No invented metrics
We don't write “skin health 82%”
Every number on screen has something real behind it: products in your kit, looks solved, measured colour difference.

The first two analyses are free.
Every analysis has a real cost — that's why the free tier is limited. But the looks you can do with your own products, your kit and your profile stay open.

Common questions
What happens to my photo?+
It's sent for analysis and deleted the moment it finishes. It stays neither on the server nor on your device. The only thing stored is the result: recipe, steps and colour values.
Does it name brands?+
No. You can't read a brand off a photo, and guessing would mean inventing information. Blenda gives category, finish and shade; your kit decides which product fits.
Is it useful with an empty kit?+
You still get the recipe, but the "you have it / missing" split won't work. You can build your kit from a single photo instead of typing everything in.
Can I use it without an account?+
Yes. Your data then lives only on your phone and is lost if you change devices.
